Imagine children passionate about LEARNING. Children that have the SKILLS and TOOLS for life. Children that know how to GATHER DATA, THINK and COMMUNICATE with clarity and precision, that LISTEN with UNDERSTANDING and EMPATHY. Children that THINK with FLEXIBILITY, remain OPEN to LEARNING and find HUMOR to move in a world that is constantly changing and facing the unknown. Children with strong MORALS and VALUES, that are able to take RESPONSIBLE RISKS when making decisions and use their CREATIVITY, IMAGINATION and INNOVATION to solve problems. Children that STRIVE for ACCURACY and are critical when applying PAST KNOWLEDGE to NEW SITUATIONS. Children that not only know how to QUESTION, POSE PROBLEMS and RESPOND with WONDERMENT and AWE, but also are PERSISTENT and MANAGE IMPULSIVITY when aiming at their goals. Children that THINK INTERDEPENDENTLY!
COMMITMENT is what changes a VISION into a REALITY. Together we can make a difference!
Follow the sections below to become an active partner in making the difference in Education for the 21st Century.
Parents can become active partners in making the difference in Education in the 21st Century in three ways.
1. Getting more knowledge about the best practices in education for the 21st century. Edu1st has established a program called Edu1st.Parental Guidance that offers free conferences, called “Coffee Mornings”, which provide up to date information about education and parenthood. Visit the Edu1st website calendar or any of our school websites for a schedule of current events. By enrolling your child in any of our Preschool programs you will have full access to all of our conferences, programs and benefits.
3. Spread the word, by wearing the wristband and telling other parents about education for the 21st Century and the skills and tools the children need to acquire for the future. Inquire your local schools, ask about their curriculum and make them aware. Question the teachers, demand an Education for the 21st century.
Private Schools can become active partners in making the difference in Education for the 21st Century by participating in a selection of training programs:
- The thinking Process
- Conflict Resolution
