Edu1st.Blog

Edu1st lead an encounter with the arts at the National Museum of Art in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

180 educators, using various thinking routines throughout the morning, looking deeply at pieces of art, reflecting and connecting the roll of the curators, objects, documentation and museums with our daily work.

Educators from Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Venezuela, USA and Spain, explored art through various thinking routines. Then, they were invited to see the perspective of the curator and connect it to their own experiences at their schools.

For Edu1st, the work of educators as curators, using pieces of art and telling the story of learning is valuable. And schools, as museum, are places to tell stories and construct meaning.

The experience was deep, fun, inspiring and a way for educators to encounter the power of museums, art and Making Thinking Visible!

Thank you every one for participating and making it such a big success!
