We are getting ready for thanksgiving at home with our great team!

There are not enough words to give thanks for our family, for what we have, for the life we live, the people we have met and the amazing team we are blessed to work with.

We will  close our eyes and hope for this feeling to reach every single one of you!

Here is a simple audit for you to rate your own brainpower.

It was designed by  Dr Eric Bienstock who is Vice-Principal of SOT in New York. Eric based this checklist on the SOT’s ‘Learn-To-Think Coursebook and Instructors Manual’ (Capra/New 1982).

Brainpower

How do you rate your own brainpower?

"Habit is a cable; we weave a thread of it each day, and at last we cannot break it." Horace Mann

Every week we will be posting a Habit of Mind to encourage deep reflection on how are we using them and how are we encouraging their use with our children.

The Habits of Mind proposed here are the Art Costa's 16 Habits of Mind. Some of the information has been taken from his web pg with authorization as for being for education and non for profit means.

Details and tips will be released on the weekly news letters sent with your child each Friday.
If you are interested in getting further involved with this topic, please check the list of monthly conferences we are offering at our schools or
if you want further information and training please contact us.
